Annette Seiffert, German, studied law at the Faculties of Law of the Universities Saarbrücken and Freiburg, Germany. As a student she worked as an intern with the lawfirm Cabinet Taylor in Paris, France dealing with international transport issues. She has dealt with trade mark and copyright cases with Miller Rechtsanwälte, Freiburg.
She has graduated as LL.M. at the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand focusing on International Intellectual Property Issues. She has also practiced trade mark law with Henry Hughes Patent & Trademark Attorneys in Wellington. She has written her graduation thesis on “Intellectual Property Rights on Bioprospects” with an underlying comparison between Australia and New Zealand.
During her lawyer apprenticeship in Berlin from August 2002 until August 2004, she has joined the DAX 30 company ALTANA AG where she legally advised a process of outcarving an affiliate as part of the strategy concentration on the core business.
From September 2005 until January 2006, she has worked as a legal counsel with the German IT company Rheinline. She has legally advised Rheinline in all matters as an Inhouse Counsel.
In February 2006, she has joined Meyer-Reumann Legal Consultancy in Dubai. In November 2006 and April 2007, she has participated in the International Commercial Arbitration Training Courses (organized by King`s College London and Dubai International Arbitration Centre). She focuses on construction and arbitration matters. In addition, she deals with all commercial and corporate matters. Territorywise, she deals with U.A.E., Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
